A Beautfiul Friday Evening - May 12

Hi Folks:

The field was beautiful this evening!  Light winds (SE @ 4 knots) and a warm glow from the setting sun made for great high-visibility flying between 7:00 and 7:30 pm.  The ground was damp from the heavy rain yesterday, but not soggy.  The flight line fence was leaning over from the effects of the wind during the rain storm, but resetting the fence posts was easy due to the soft earth.  The only spectators were a few Canada geese from the nearby creek and some friendly mosquitoes.

Have a great weekend and Happy Mother's Day to all the spouses who understand and endure our flying addiction!
