Simon lands hobbyking balsa spitfire

I got a few seconds of the best HK spitfire landing at the field.  With the short grass and the heat, it appears that smaller planes will have less issues than before.... ;o)

Way to grease it in. I'm always leery of flying visually below the power lines at that end of the field. I always assume that my depth perception is wrong and the plane is on the other side of the lines and will hit them.

I'm still getting used to that plane, and feel that it comes in quite fast (compared to a foamie) so I like a low approach.

Landing to the North is much easier though! Lots of room to approach.

It is very hard to see green planes...

Esp planes that are rather fast, not sure how you fly that wing thing!   I was tearing while look at it!

The dry grass definitely makes takeoffs and landings easier.
