The forecast looks promising but which way is the weather moving?
Regardless if it doesn't rain then crosswind training appears to be on the agenda.
Thanks to Richard's response and the PM from Oscar, the forecast has improved significantly. The forecast has been rightly modified from a.m. to p.m. (12 hours) and what do you know, it's a GO.
I am glad someone was observant, because this morning I certainly wasn't. (Had not had enough coffee when I made the post.) :P
This is for the same location, but I like my numbers so much better... they're lower. 'Course I never did grasp metric...
Interesting how the wind predictions are so different
I will be there regardless
I'll be there no matter which of the 3 forecasts end up prevailing.
This is like an economic forecast. "When you lay all economists end to end they still couldn't draw a correct conclusion".
Frank
"prevailing"... that's a good one. :D
Gents - I may not be able to make it this evening. Some work stuff has come up.
I won't know until the last minute
weather looks pretty windy, but Joseph has a free evening today so he and i will be there .
Cannot make this afternoon. Wondering if an instructor was going to be out tomorrow?
Keeping my fingers crossed.

Looks great!
Sorry guys, I had to work late.
A nice day/evening at the field. A little bumpy but very flyable. Wind almost down the runway was a treat.
Photo report:
55- Bruce, where the heck are the shorts and the sandals???
56- Rob Dickinson trying his best to retrain his abilities after attending a wedding on the weekend.
58- Gerald saying: What cold weather??
60- Ray's little robot camera that follows you around. Twilight Zone?
61- Let me see, 4 layers of clothing in September translates to 10 layers for the New Year's Funfly.
62- What me worry??? I am retired. Rob taking it easy.... still.
67- Ray intensely following his airplane.
68- Rob intensely having fun.
70- Gerald giving Bruce a lesson. ;)
71- William and Joseph concentrating on flying.
72- Joseph after that same flight.
74- Temac's own Group of Seven. Guaranteed not a single artist. ;)
75- Rob and his plane.
76- William either making a weather statement or a fashion statement.
and 66- This is what happened to Alex's plane when it went on Simon's diet. ;D

More photos:
77- "Hey mister, wanna buy some of Rob's airplanes? Peter and Don.
78- If I scrunch all the chips into the bottom of the bag and then cut the top half off....they become calorie reduced.... by 50% even.
79- Guy decided to leave his tux at home for this evening's festivities.
80- Wanna buy a transmitter?
81- Fabrice and BJ discussing world issues.
84- Kenny, Ray and Joseph earn their wings. The others in the photo hope ability rubs off by osmosis.
86- Ringo and his son dropped by the field only to be accosted by Bruce.
87- "Here Frank, fly this thing". It flew well....enough. :D
