Title: What size plane is the limit
Post by: akabek on May 05, 2013, 06:24:51 PM
Hi Folks, I am interested in joining another club that is closer to home.  I am all electric and helis and planes but these days I am more interested in 3D planes.  I am just finishing my first scale (87" WS) plane, 30% Pilot RC 50cc Yak54, that I will be running on 12S and Hacker motor.  What is the plane size limit for your field?

I flew a 20 pound, 100", 12S model yesterday at TEMAC.

That's probably the upper limit as our runway (500 feet) is limited to about 350 to 400 useful feet in length.

Great.  As long as my 30% does not break the rules I will have to drop by to check things out.
