Yes cool features but really ANOTHER mustang?  At least its not another cub lol
Yea 400W/lb should about do it.. But wouldn't a nice round 500 be better?

Hey Andy.  It's foam and it is not red!
If your wife agrees, we will let you get one. ;D

Simon,

Excellent timing. If I recall correctly, you need a new mustang
Takeoffs are optional. Landings are mandatory.

I so do! But the Dynam one flew so well.......

Or do I get another Spit? Or a Bf-109?

Decisions, decisions!

Michael

I do not need another foamy ARF, ....

but ....

this one has retracts installed, and it's an E-Flite product, and it's ready to fly, and, ....

(I'll think about it.)  ;D

The 40' trailer of red foam is coming to your house tomorrow.  I have asked the truck driver to be at the field this Wednesday evening so he can pick up the crashed pieces and take them directly to the dump.  I like efficiency.... and making your wishes come true. ;D

It also comes in a PNP model... Which suits me fine....
Will have to wait until next season though  :'(

The attach coupon will save you additional $20 when you purchase the new P-51 (EFL6750 P-51D Mustang BNF Basic) from the local hobby store (Pinnacle, AJ, Zoom etc).

You do need to print it out and surrendered at time of purchase.

There are others BNF that listed in the coupon.  (see the list from the coupon)

This offer expires end of October.

Lovely plane, but I'm an Axis fan!  8)

Be careful... it's always too close, no matter how far...

My "new" Mustang with retracts, flaps and (soon to receive) AS3X-type stabilizer is taking shape.

Refreshing an old version of the FMS 1450mm P-51D.

Mini review

Got my P51 AS3X BNF from Pinnacle.  I used the $20 off coupon (expire Oct 31 2014).  For an entry level (like me) getting into Flaps and Retracts, a <$300 running 6 channels with stabilizer built-in, and parts can be purchase from LHS, I love it.  :D

Assembly time is about 1 hour (30 minutes reading, 30 minutes putting together and setup the radio).  I am sure others who experience in putting together, it can be done in 10 minutes.  ;)

44 inch wingspan, perfect to put into the car without removing the wing.

Note: The P-51 comes with BNF and PNP.  The $20 off coupon can only applies to BNF (which comes with the stablizer receiver).  It doesn't come with the battery (it's BNF Basic).  2200mah 3S is all you need (someone said the ESC can go with 4S but you need to reprogram the ESC)

Here is the review from someone in Internet, check it out. (They didn't follow exactly with the manual, otherwise, the flaps should be moving slowly with speed setup @ 2.0 and it said to put into 3 position switch so you can have half flaps and full flaps)

Great stuff Oscar. Can't wait to see it in the flesh.

Test flew it for Oscar this afternoon and I think it might be on my list to Santa ;)

Just need a click or two of trim and it flew very smooth. The retracts are a nice touch. I never did try the flaps but it land with a touch of power.

Very nice plane Oscar... You'll have tons of fun with it
