Thank you Michael.

I have changed the colour of the print in the original post to red where it said "this is an unofficial event" to emphasize your point.
If members read the original post carefully there is no difference between this Saturday and any other day at the field we have had so far this year.
Covid observant as any other day at the field.

Tomorrow is the day.  Join us between 10 am and 4 pm and it should be a blast.
The weather looks good.  The wind won't bother me.

Please remember the Covid rules:
- 6' spacing
- please wear a mask if you may be at a distance less than 6'
- No food or drink supplied.  Please bring your own food and drink.
- please do not use the club tables or chairs.

We are not taking attendance so please assess your own risk.

I am bringing the following planes just in case you want to chase me or shoot me out of the sky (figuratively only please ;))
- large P-51 (.46 size)
- Hammer (ballistic hand launch)
- E-Flite V-900- (no comment.  Ask Vadim) ;D
- E-Flite Spitfire (1.2m)
- micro spitfire
- DG1000 powered glider
- Electro UHU powered glider.

Mix 'n Match.

Please bring a sense of humour.
Please leave the serious stuff at the office. :)

Decisions, decisions.....   ???

Do I stay home and finish the exhausting job of refurbishing and repainting our garage doors, or do I go to the field and torture myself trying to get non- @Frank v B to use his non-fill flash for his non-sense non-photographs of the non-Fun Fly?? .............

"Uncle!"  Non-Frank wins.  I will do the honourable thing and fall on my paintbrush!

Hope you're all having a wonderful socially distant time enjoying the gusty southwest to northwest crosswinds  (for all except Frank, see METAR below! For Frank, sing "A, B, C, D, E, F, G, ......!)  8)

Cheers,
Non-Andy

I was there for a while.

Maybe there were 8 people there, having a good, quiet and casual time, easily maintaining proper social distance, and some even wearing masks.

The forecast called for strong west winds and gusts, but in fact it was very calm, maybe 3 or 4 km winds, white and gray clouds but with ample blue sky here and there.

It was nice and fun.

Frank

This is a perfect launch position if it is one of @Frank v B 's planes.  It saves all the time and collateral crop damage of walking out into the beans!  8)

Good job Chris!
