Title: Piper Cub Mods
Post by: Andy Hoffer on October 07, 2020, 11:10:16 PM
@octagon Rob's Piper Cub experienced an unfortunate suspected impromptu battery expedition during take-off which resulted in migration of the C of G to the aft of the fuselage.  This was followed in quick succession with the somewhat unorthodox restyling of the airframe.  Needless to say the poor pilot lost face in the incident.  :P

Good luck on the restoration Rob.

Thanks Andy. I had a down day so I was able to work on the remains for a few hours and it is coming along.

@octagon

Hi Rob.

Photos of Faceless Freddie added to my original post.  Glad to see you have attacked the evil Smack Down Demon head on! You are an inspiration to us all.

Andy

Welcome to the Repaired Cub Club.

They fly better and better after each crash!
