BBMF and Canadian Lancasters in Formation Eastbourne 2014

   Thanks Andy,
  I was checking a few other videos yesterday showing the formation from various airshows and of course there first landing at Conington. Hearing those thundering Merlins must be unbelievable in person.

Must admit, I'm surprised to see the Canadian Lanc flying formation on the BBMF Lanc.  I would have thought it would be the other way round......

True, with the Canadian being the special guest and all.

BTW, for you "new" guys in the club, you may not know that for two or three years, we had that Lancaster, the B25 Mitchell, Harvard, Beach 24, and PT-17 do a fly over at our August electric fun fly.  That event was known as the Ontario Electric Flight Expo.

In fact, either the PT17 or the Harvard would usually ROAR down the runway, early in the morning, to wake those of us camping at the field.  It was awesome.

The shot of the 2 spits joining on the lancs was thrilling.
When was the last time, I wonder, when lancs few formation wearing their war paint.
It gave me goose bumps!
