Happy New Year everyone!  I hope that you all enjoyed the Christmas break?

Here's some potentially good news. An LA company, Wright Electric, has chosen the BAe 146 airframe (Britain's most successful and numerous airliner, made at the old DeHavilland / Hawker Siddeley plants), to retrofit as an electric regional airliner in 2026.

There are a lot of 146 airframes around the world, so that will have plenty of choice.
