Come join some of us die-hards for a flight at Rogo Field 10 am. on New Years Day.

I will be at Tim's Woodbine by about 9:15+ am for a caffein top-up.  Will leave for the field by about 9:50 am.
It is always a little risky weather wise.  In previous years we have had so much snow that the driveway was not accessible.  In other years we have had beautiful flying day with sunshine.  Everything is a game-time decision.

9:15+ am- meet at Tim's Woodbine.
9:50 am- head to the Field
10:00 am- at Rogo Field
10:05 am- decide whether to stay any longer. ;)  Game-time decision.
post-field- back to Tim's for more BS stories and coffee.

If you plan to fly, make sure you have your MAAC Insurance, RPAS and Temac membership.

Frank

ps: I should be able to drive by then.  It will be 7 weeks after my right knee replacement.  If the weather is good I will drive directly to Tim's.  If the weather is bad, I may drive up to a victim's member's house and catch a ride to Stouffville.
Have to keep my string alive of flying every New Year's day for 34 years! 8)

I plan to come and bring Eric's sale items for those that are in the Country. Not sure I'll make it for 9am because I'm helping walk a friends dog.

I should be at the field for 10am.

All set to meet tomorrow...New Year's Day.. starting at Tim's
Aiming to be at Tim's 9:15 am and at the Field at 10:00 am.
I still cannot drive so TEMAC's Uber team has offered to drive me.
Mark Satin drew short straw. ;)

Happy New Year to all Temac members who cannot make it tomorrow.
This may be the nicest (?) weather on New Year's day in years.

Spoke too soon.  Woke up to 2" of snow on our yard and deck.
Ready to go to Tim's.

12 members showed up. It was cloudy and a bit cool, but almost no wind. Flying was easy, and landing in the snow was fun!
