This is a follow-up on the  "How to do a film hinge" post.

When to use:- if you have already covered the individual parts.  I have used this when I made a mistake with the hinge film.

Step 1- cut two strips about 3/4 to 1" wide as long as the length of the hinge. See photo 13.
Step 2- attach one strip on the elevator side of the stab. attach it so that it sticks up past the top of the stab.  See photo 14.
step 3- put the elevator upside down on top of the stab and make sure the edge touches the hinge material.  See photo 15. Heat it and attach the covering to the stab.
step 4- Attach the second strip on the top.  I attached it to the stab side first, then attached it to the top of the elevator while holding full "down" elevator. See photo 17.
step 5- heat the hinge line top and bottom to stick the two strips together at the hinge line. Photo 19- finished.
