Do we have an official first training day for the season?

I'm game to help out now that the weather appears to be warmer, the ground is drying up and there is still sun until around 8 p.m.

I could make it out tonight if there are any students wishing assistance.  I'll keep an eye on this post to see if any students wish help.  Please respond to this post if you wish help tonight, from 6 - 8 p.m.  If students or other instructors are going out, I'll be there too.

If I look at last year, we started on May 4th (Star Wars day!)

I think we usually start after the Spring Field clean up & official opening (which is this Saturday, April 29th.)

So I would say, based on last year and tradition, the first official Training Day (great movie, IMHO) starts May 3rd.

I'll check this with Graham @gmcnic (official owner of Training) and consider it official!

May 3rd 2017.

If last evenings weather is any indication of future student nights to come, it is going to be a great flying season.
