Hey!  It's been WAY too long!

Let's all meet for some AWESOME float flying on Saturday evening (Aug. 3), from 5:00pm til after dark, at Frenchman's Bay in Pickering.

You know the routine.  I'll bring the boat, the beach, the water, and you bring your seaplanes, a lawn chair, and a willingness to have a great time.

I know there are a lot of seaplanes out there itching to get to the water.  Do them a favour and bring them out for some water flying action on Saturday.

Here's a map:

See you all there!

Water, Smarter, who needs water when you have wet grass.

Flew the Mentor off the field again today. That's the third time and each time it gets better.

That being said I look forward to Saturday, count me in.

CG looks ok. Ready to go.

Ben, Please refrain from posting your disgustingly clean work bench photos.

If Mary saw that photo it would undo 48 years of telling her that everyone has a messy bench.

Please make the next one suitably messy or plan on being a correspondent in numerous divorce litigations.

Jack just tell her that's his kitchen counter like I did mine!
Yea 400W/lb should about do it.. But wouldn't a nice round 500 be better?

That's not a workbench.  Where are the drill holes, burn marks, glue blobs, over spray outlines, razor cuts, and dust... WHERE'S THE DUST!!!  Oh, and the clutter!  WHERE'S THE CLUTTER!

I need to go home and tidy.

Oh, and I'm glad to see those floats mounted  ;D

The other side of the room has my computer stuff in it, so no dust allowed. I have a mini dyson--amazing little machine. I also have an exceedingly small workspace so I have to tidy as I go or there's no room to work on anything. I was much messier when I had a whole unfinished basement to work in.

Hope it's not too windy to fly today. Packing the car now.

Michael

Wow!

That was fun.

Despite high and gusty winds, our bravado won out!  ;D

About a dozen flyers showed up, and after Simon started to fly, everyone else got into it.

There were easily more than 20 flights, and not a single crash!

Thanks Robert, for organizing; It was great!

It was windy but it was awesome! Thanks to Jack and Robert for being the catalysts.

And especially thank you to Robert for the boat.  Glad we only needed it a few times.

Great fun.

You should have been there.

Next Saturday same time. You have a week to get your affairs in order.
