Broken Tape Measure

I broker my favourite tape measuere today... snapped a little clasp on the thumb toggle lock.

This tape measure has both metric AND imperial... it's a wonder!

I look it apart, pulled out the thumb lock, took a picture of it, converted the image to an STL file and printed me a new one.

This stuff is too cool.

It IS cool!
Once the pic is taken, I assume you input at least some of the dimensions?

That what I keep expecting, too.  But no, nothing is entered.  I get back a giant part... and in the slicer I enter one dimension... and since all 3 dimensions are locked together (by default) it all shrinks down to size.  I think it's really cool how parts of the shape get interpolated even though sometimes they are hidden.
