This being the largest of my fleet of many planes.  It was a very calm night, John, Dave, Cliff and some others where there.  I needed some assistance from Cliff to load the plane up in the back of the truck.  I will have to say at 77" and 18 lbs, it was a handfull.

I got the plane from RC Canada and converted it with a G160 and 120 HV esc, 5Sx2 giving it a wooping 10S.  Hitech servos and a sep power system.

I was concerned about G/C as there was different information all over the net. 4" from plans, 5 1/4 from others and comments about C/G being nose heavy.

So I went with 5 1/4.

So I have attached a video, take a look.  The only issue I had was not enough right thrust at 1-2 deg.  I am now at 3 deg.   I had lots of rudder right and right alerion to compensate.  I like the alerions to be neutral on all my models.

Enjoy...  It's funny...

Back to the 70's...

I would love to grow one of the swirly mustaches too!

Carmen likes the guy from "Hang Over"

The plane will be out for more... Changed the Thrust angle a bit and will try again... but man too much power!   I was afraid to go over half...

It's so big!

So... I have another one on the bench...

If anyone want to trade a BUSA Sopwith PUP for a similar build DR-1...

Another great performance Greg. Congrats to the ground crew as well. Good show
Yea 400W/lb should about do it.. But wouldn't a nice round 500 be better?
