Ryerson flying- Sunday March 22, 2020, 1 pm
« on: March 20, 2020, 01:41:42 PM »
Alex just confirmed they want to test fly their project on Sunday.  I will be there.

The contest they were competing in has been cancelled due to Corona (travel, social distancing) so it will be held next year at this time.
The competition objectives will be the same with a p;possible added degree of difficulty because of the extra design time.

Ryerson cancelled because their tethered flight test failed.  It severely damaged the plane that they brought to the meeting.

They are now hunkering down for exams and then will re-start the project.  The competition has been cancelled for this year so the rush is off.  Next year's competition will use this year's design objectives as a starting point.
