It looks fantastic Rob!!!

I am looking forward to see it flying too.

(You are going to need a trailer to get it to the field.)  ;D

Ok, all done except for the detailing. Finished 1 month too late for a maiden this year. I guess I will spend the winter detailing, rockets, rigging, machine gun, but it is ready to fly as it is now.  Now my building board will  a 132 inch sailplane I want to have for next summer.

Well, the Newport is completely finished now. It has been a fun build. Started last may. I could have been finished for this flying season but the fire meant I did not have tools or a place to build until about September. It is far from perfect, but I think it is square and true with strong joints, and I think it will fly well (fingers crossed).
Here are a few pictures of the finished product.

Rob,

Looks great!!!

Re:  "It is far from perfect,"

It more than passes the 50/50 rule.  If you can't see the imperfection at 50 feet and 50 kms/hr, it doesn't matter.
In fact, making it better than 50/50 cuts into flying time. ;D
