I am putting this project on hold for now.
Am leaving the covering just in case I get energetic during my recovery from the knee replacement* surgery on Feb 9.
Covering can be done in bed or on a couch.  Being a pin cushion for building purposes is more difficult. ;D
Am switching to the next build project (House of Balsa Chipmunk) to pass the time.  https://temac.ca/smf/index.php?topic=8558.0

Time to re-start this project.  The Chipmunk is finished.

Done today:
- cleared my desk to re-start this project.  The desk still looks like the inside of my car. ;)
- installed the servos
- sanded the wing and fuse
- added filler where required.

Next step: start covering.

Covering

Well under way.

Will do invasion stripes so I can see the thing.

Second photo is in the spirit of the day.

Doing the small stuff:

- Attached the stab/elevator
- Attached the fin/rudder..with the triangle attached to make sure it is 90 degrees to the stab.
- connected the ailerons to the servos

Tomorrow- the pushrods for the elevator/rudder.  It needs to cure first.

Well, it flew for one circuit.  Then on final it decided it did not want to fly any more so it did a nose-dive into the beans. The wing and fuselage- no damage.  The cabin support posts all broken.  The wing sheared off.  Best result possible for a 50' dive from 49' AGL. ;D

Thanks to Andy for the photo.
