Found a UMX A-10 Warthog covered by leaves at the base of a tree near the river by the sawmill.  It was upside down, broken wing, no canopy, battery still attached, broken nose.  If it is yours, please let me know.  Andy said it may be Peter Browne's

I took it home, cleaned it up and attached a charged battery.  It bound and worked.  The motors spun up, the aileron and elevator servos worked.  The rudder servo did not move but the linkage was jammed.

So far, glued the wing back, glued the nose back on, glued the tail section back together.

Tonight I will test the battery.  It will probably be fried but worth a try. See the post on "re-conditioning a dead lipo experiment" http://temac.ca/smf/index.php/topic,7755.0.html

Frank, that is mine. Thanks for finding and saving it.
Perhaps when you are next at the field you could let me know and I could meet you there?

Peter,

Great that you can be re-united with your model airplane.  I will complete the repairs and the radio tests and will get it to you.
