Title: Canada Day!- Flight instruction July 1
Post by: Frank v B on June 26, 2015, 07:03:32 PM
Yes I will be there Wednesday July 1 on Canada Day.  I will aim to be there by 5 pm to get as much flying in as possible.

Hope to see you there.

re: Andy's  Hmmm!  Maybe I'll go for a lesson!

Maybe I should re-consider coming to the field.  There is not enough air space for the two of us to fly safely. ;D

Simon, maybe you and I should re-certify* Andy. :)

Frank

* I know,  I know...  Andy is certified... nuts.  :D

Yes, so sad, but so true.  If you hang around Frank long enough you're bound to go certifiably ape.

With great reverence,

Andy

Canada day is by Bday...

I've cleared my entire schedule of kids and other responsibilities and plan to be at the field pretty much all day (weather permitting)

:)

When asked what I wanted for my bday, my only reply was..."Leave me alone to go fly for a day"

Now who do I have to pay off to arrange some good weather?

Sure thing!

I emailed that in months ago when I met you fine gentlemen. Perhaps I sent to incorrect address.

Will print one off and bring it in though.

I rest my case! ;D

Trevor, we will bar Andy from the field on your birthday.  I will benefit hugely from this. :)

Jack.

Don't believe it Trevor.  Jack probably sent it to the laundry in his pants!  He does stuff like that, although he is partial to negotiable instruments like bank cheques!!

It seems to  be the Wednesday's are windy this year, but no rain.  In fact it was a great night at training last night.  I had a great time.

And the students did some great flying in some really challenging windy conditions. Well done everyone!

Plus, it was nice to see Frank!  ;D

Gentlemen,
I was impressed to see how many instructors turned up, sacrificing their Canada Day evening, to give us rookies some much needed tuition!

Thanks guys, that was very nice of you.

I flew with Ed and Don, and it was very windy.

I suppose when it's finally calm, everyone's skills will shine!
