Title: How to make a kid smile.
Post by: Frank v B on September 23, 2018, 08:52:05 PM
Malcolm Cullen donated an Electra* with an E-Flite 450 to a deserving member.  Do you think Yakob had a hard time accepting the gift?  It included an RX and two batteries. He flew it for the first time today.  It will take a few weeks to wipe the grin off his face.

Thank you Malcolm.  Happy flying Yakob.

Frank

* we could not decide whether it was an Electra or a Spirit.  Adam's guess was an Electra.  As long as it flies, it does not matter. ;)

Jakob's pleasure is a result of Frank's generosity and I had very little, if anything to do with it.

I could not fly the plane so gave it to Frank, who instinctively thought of someone else who could enjoy it, and he made all the right and thoughtful decisions to give it to Jakob. All kudos goes to Frank, but I am sure this will surprise no one.

This is why I like being in and supporting this community of crazy rc pilots
They're friendly helpful kind always giving (mostly advice )  8) direction and helping the hobby to carry on to.
