Title: crashed during launch
Post by: zhurui45 on October 24, 2019, 07:15:38 PM
today I was flying my night radians at the field and trying to tape my camera to the plane

first take-off, feel a bit nose heavy but flys just fine, after landing, move the camera to end of the back of the wing. as I cannot tight the camera to the center of gravity.

second take off, feel a bit tail heavy, still manage to fly and land perfectly

third attempt, trying to use trim to offset the weight.

trim too much

after the plane left my hand it dives to the ground and I don't have time to save it.

damage: both blade damaged, top cover cracks a little bit. camera is fine and the plane is fine.

lesson learned: should mount the camera at the cg and should trim the plane in the air. most important, listen to your plane, when she saids is too heavy you probably have to stop.

here is the vedio I took during first flight: https://youtu.be/xeOXafZhwNw
