- Weather looks good (FvB eyeball forecast).
- hourly Stouffville weather forecast on the internet looks good.

Tail skid mostly done; it will require some epoxy and perhaps a stronger rubber band and of course a lick of paint or stain.

See the video.

The Venom-S 64mm flew really well today.  Paired with the HobbyEagle A3 Super 4 it was a great experience.  The amount of stabilization was assigned to the rotary dial on the NX10 so I was able to turn it down because it was rocking a bit in high headwinds.  Well... actually... George was able to turn it down because I can never find the damn thing while I'm flying.

Hand Launching was perfect... tons of power and the HobbyEagle kept it level on "SAFE" mode until I switched to stabilized only.  Nicely done Lorenzo and LSPlanes.

General Discussion / Toogood Pond Monday April 27, ...
Last post by GuyOReilly - April 24, 2026, 05:43:22 PM
Our fearless scout (Paul) has confirmed that the barriers and chains were removed.  The stairs are now accessible.
Should you want to float your boat or come and give it a try, I will be at Toogood Pond by 2:00 pm with a boat or two.
All are welcome to enjoy the fun.

The weather is expected as follows for the afternoon
Temperature 16°C
Wind 11 km/h SE
Wind Gust 18 km/h
Humidity 51%

Unfortunately, I also discovered that the city plans to develop an amphitheatre at the pond which would impede our access to the pond.  Here is a link.  I do not know the schedule/timing/etc. as this is a concept at this time.

See you Monday 2:00pm
