Special thanks to the individual who found my P51D Battery Hatch Cover (see photo) and left it at the 'Lost & Found' table.
I searched everywhere in a 20 ft radius of the crash site - twice! This saves me the trouble of manufacturing a new cover from scratch.
Who found it? And where was it?
Greg and I found it while searching for his F-27 yesterday. It's about 20-30ft from the runway. :)
Thanks Oscar and Greg! I'm guessing it popped off during take off (to the south) and was already gone when I had the crash (50 feet out, slightly north of centre.
Either way, I'm really happy to not have to make a new one.
