Title: Full size molded fuselage
Post by: Crazyflyer on April 03, 2020, 07:30:05 AM
I stumbled on to this video of a gentleman fabricating a full size pylon racer and was really surprised how similar the techniques he used are to how we build for our hobby.

Red Jensen in Ca. has designed and made a E F 1 of the Endeavor. He only built one but never kitted or raced it.

The nose looked a lot like the Nemesis, even with the little air fairing at the bottom of the cowl.  It has much smoother lines though.
The back end is unique with a surprisingly large rudder area (incl. below the stab). Approx. 30% larger than the Nemesis.
The wheel pants ("spats" for Simon ;)) are unique in that they fully cover the wheel.  The slightest bounce on landing will scrape their bottoms.

Below: photos of the Nemesis.

Note: the top photo is the fixed gear original.  The second is the unlimited NXT version with retracts.
