Title: silver Solartex
Post by: octagon on April 16, 2020, 02:53:32 PM
Hi Everyone. I am almost finished building a 60 inch super Superchipmunk. I decided to cover it as I find fiberglassing so much work. I had a big roll of solartex in the silver colour I decided to use. I thought I had enough to get the entire plane done, but the fuse took more than I had counted on and now I am left with only enough to cover 3 of the 4 wing panels. Has anyone got a roll of this stuff they would consider selling. I thought the plane would look good in all silver with maybe some bright red accents.

Would this do?
One is a new roll the rest just small leftover pieces.

Thanks Guy. The problem is that I have the fuse finished already with Solartex,  and it is a flat finish that I intend to spray with gloss, but I think the finish of Solartex and Ultracote are pretty diffferent.  I do appreciate the kind offer though.
