I'm looking for a sheeet of steel aprox 1/16" thick x2'x6' for a magnetic building table top. Would prefer coated or primed so it doesn't rust.
Anybody know where I can get something like this?

I bought one of the commercial ones and gave up on it. The problem was the lack of flexibility.
On smaller models the magnets took up space and I had to fiddle to get stuff in place. I went back to
pins.

Haven't built a balsa kit since I was a teenager so that's almost like new to me. Also, building with magnets is new. I've had the magnets for some time but never really used them for large structures. Magnetic top is 6'x2' which is about as big as I think I'll ever wanna build. Thanks Piker for helping me find the steel for the top. Having fun!
