Sunday afternoon was nearly perfect at TEMAC, with sun, pleasant temperatures, plentiful thermals and just a bit of cross-wind to make landings 'interesting'. Flyers included Michael, Rick, Bill, Ben (and his son) Alex J., Simon, Glenn and me. A highlight of the day was Glenn's new 2.4 meter Dimona motorglider, "scale" powered on an Astro 40 and 3s lipos. Majestic, smooth and only $160 from GreenRC Models!

"How on earth do I land this thing?"
It seems like everyone who didn't come Saturday, came to fly on Sunday.
It was fun both days.
Glenn's plane was impressive.
I also liked Al Biggerstaff's Ultra Stick. (no pun intended [:D])
Michael
I see. So the "fair weather flyers" were out on Sunday!
(That's a dig at Glenn.....not everyone else [:D])
Robert
I can only envy on those who went...nice photo guys.
Glenn's scale sailplane looks very nice.
rkhoo,
Pls check your upsteamworks mail box. I did sent you a message regarding your backpack. Other TEMAC members found it at the field. I'm still keeping it.
thanks,
Park.

Nice shot.
Now that I see the giant pond just to the west, I can understand where all the mosquitos come from at dusk!

Yes. We need to figure out how to get in there for float flying [:D]
Robert
I was experimenting with air to air digital camera video that day as well.
I managed to get some footage of planes as they landed while I flew a landing pattern beside them.
Andre and Colin tried to get close to the camera/plane in the air but it did not work out as well as I had hoped. Maybe with a little more practice . . .
I was thinking about the pond for float flying as well. Just a few to many trees
