Adam and I will be there about 2pm.

Adam may be maidening his 2-meter pattern plane.

Maybe Sunday depending on the wind;
Monday looks like it should be good too.

I wish I could, but I'll be in Kingston.

Are Wednesday evenings becoming regular yet?

I'm not aware of Wednesday evening flying yet; last week it rained.

Maybe this week if the weather is decent.

The new safety fence is up, and a wonderful fence it is too!  Thanks to John K, Keith M, Nestor, and especially Bill whose skills as a fencemeister are non pareil!

Adam and I flew at TEMAC today.

The new fence is really nice, and the field is in fact a little smoother.

The driveway was much better too.

High winds are predicted for Sunday; Adam and I will probably go Monday morning.

How did Adam's new pattern ship fly?

Adam's model flew as follows:

There was a terrible motor noise, which was later adjusted through the speed control. Now the motor is quieter and much stronger. I guess it wasn't set up properly.

One landing gear leg broke; it was badly repaired by the person who sold it to Adam. Now repaired better, I hope.

As far as the flying went, it was great. The flight was short because Adam landed early to figure out what was wrong with the motor, but it was able to fly straight up, and it flew straight as an arrow.

Weather permitting, Adam will give it another go Monday morning.

The Schulze ESC wasn't set properly, the timing was set to "very soft" where it should have been set to "very hard". The motor is a Plettenberg 30-15 outrunner, and the ESC was set to a geared Hacker. The change in timing solved the issue.

Fantastic job on the fence, guys.  I haven't seen it in person yet, but it looks great in the photos.  Thanks for all your hard work.

OK I will bite.  You talking about the Avro Arrow by MadRob or your own design?
