Title: TEMAC is open for 2008
Post by: Michael on April 17, 2008, 07:41:18 PM
I went flying today, and everything is dry (enough).

I had a good time flying; check out a few photos:
www.temac.ca
and click on the "WHAT'S HAPPENING" link.

Please fly carefully, follow the rules, and note that the field is somewhat bumpy. Only TEMAC members may fly (along with MAAC member guests).

I'm exploring options on improving the field.

Anybody up for some mid-day flying this coming Saturday ?

The place is a bit of a mess, and if people take a few minutes cleaning up, the field will look great.

I'm thinking about noon or so; the sun will be out of our eyes by then.

I'll post what time I'm going early Saturday morning.

Whoo, hoo ... at 11am I get to go to Benjamin Moore to pick up MORE paint ... this is only the THIRD time she's changed her mind about the color of the hallway ... AFTER I painted it. Oh yeah ... life is good. [:I] [:(!] [:D]

Great flying today, even though it was very windy !

New TEMAC member Marc Venis got his wings and flew for hours.

Glenn, Gordon, Nestor and I flew, and Andy came along and took lots of fantastic photos.

Images and further discussion about TEMAC will be posted in about a week.

There will likely be some discussion at the AGM tomorrow.
