Title: Mid-air collision at TEMAC
Post by: Michael on August 10, 2008, 05:15:17 PM
Greg Hazelton, Philip Fu and I were are TEMAC today. Despite wet conditions, we had a few nice flights.

However, ... Philip's small foam electric glider and my twin-ducted fan F15 had a mid-air collision.

Philip's glider was completely unharmed and landed safely.
My F-15 lost an aileron in the collision and came down hard in the high-grass/bushes. The nose is all banged up, but will be re-built.

Thanks to Philip and Greg for helping me "pick up the pieces".

It was no one's fault; sometimes these rare things just happen.
