My first real electric aircraft, after a 45 year career with IC power is the Parkzone Sukhoi. A great little machine, flys well with a few mods. I find it too fast though, airfoil is too thin, IMO.
So I'd like to build another wing, hollow, using 1mm Depron or similar foam.
Despite a few months of off an on trying, no one seems to carry it. On line is a killer for the freight costs it seems.
Are there any shops anyone knows of that carries this? I'd be happy to buy 1/32" ply to sandwich the foam in between for protection.
Where are you located?
I have some 1mm Depron, 15" x 40".
$2 a sheet, FOB my place in Don Mills.
One thing about 1mm Depron - unlike the thicker stuff it has a distinct curve to it.
The stuff I have came from RCfoam:

Very nice material; I've used some.
Note, the grain runs perpendicular to the curve.
