I was there both days from around 4pm till dusk. Successfully maidened my T-Rex 500 and put more flights on my 450 too. It was windy (20km/h+) but both helis flew really well in that weather.
No one was there either day, except for yesterday late in the afternoon when Ken showed up with his Formosa.

Pitts is ready to fly, but...
Cowl paint is finished and I'm just indulging my aesthetic sensibilties with addition of trim on top and boittom of cowling.
And then of course I'll want to do the pants (paint + trim).
Ground handling and taxi tests went well.
Once that's all done, then the heli. Thanks for kind offer of help.

Mine is still in it's box along with a nice new gyro and tail servo:(
I bought a flybarless 500 while I was waiting to build my 500:)
Flys great, but a bit scary.

Sounds like you're close to the maiden flight! Needless to say, take lots of pictures of that beauty before the first flight ;)

I bought the heli used with it.
To be honest, I can't tell the difference between it and a flybar heli.
But then again, I'm just flying circuits, no 3D.
