I was going to but then I looked at the treetops. When is this wind going to stop? I've got two new birds to try.

Friday looks excellent, with 10km north winds - PERFECT!

I'm working Thursday, but not Friday.

I hope to be at TEMAC from about 1pm to 5pm.

Ahh yes, remember when we used to fly model planes? Seems like a long time ago. June has been a bit of a disappointment. Let's hope July treats us better.

I was there from 9 to 10:45 am.  Thought such a good day I will see a few folks.

Well, I was there all by myself. So I put the electric back in the car and out came my hand-launched glider.

The wind is about 10-15 kmh NW.  There is a lt of thermo activity at TEMAC.  Due to NW wind, trees West of the field became a major rotor, stay away if you're below tree line.

Wind shifts happened quite often, suggesting a strong air is forming near by.  Once in a while, a thermal will found my glider and took her for a ride.  But then the up rising air will dispersed rapidly at about 300 ft and I do not have the skill to work it.

Nevertheless, it was fun.
