Jeff and I had a great few days of flying my Cub and the Quick Silver! Stouffville was really good with less than 5 km winds. I think I lost feeling to my thumbs, but otherwise it was fantastic!
Anyone else do any quick flights?
One thing that we noticed was that the Lipo's didn't like the cold at all. The charger was giving incorrect readings, but the HZ 1300 packs worked well. Got about a 10-12 min flight with the cub. Got some great shots of us freezing on the ground.

Never charge cold Lipos!
You can discharge them, but don't charge them.

Yes we got some good flying in, the cub with floats is a stable bird, with the extra weight, it barely notices the wind! It was nice to try some takeoffs from smooth ashpalt to!
P.S. Pat thanks for the tip, didnt know li-po's were that sensitive to cold.
We have some videos, but need to edit them before they go online!
