The beans continue to fight their battle against me, and thus far are winning! This month I have lost 2 canopies, and now a whole airplane!
Last night, my mini F-22 Raptor went down, somewhere at the very farthest, eastern edge of the field. If you happen to be out there (and I feel for you, if you are!) please keep an eye out for it.
It's the 50mm SkyAngel version, about 25" wingspan, all grey.
Thanks!

p.s. there will be a reward if you find it........most people know where I work, so that's a big hint!
Just a thought but last weekend I went out to look for a plane with my daughter on my shoulders. She spotted it from much further away than I ever could have from her perch. If you plan on being there sat and can point me to the area I would gladly take a walk around. She realy likes cookies!
We should map out the missing planes and parts area.
I know this is a bit late...But my plan for next year is this:

If it helps find one plane...it has paid for itself...
and if it saves me from walking in the field for an hour....It is worth 3X the price :P

I went for the cheap option and have just ordered one of these.....

That will work as long as the battery or bec is still working....Otherwise....it will be silent.
But I agree, Price is right.

I have a beeper that's supposed to beep when you turn the TX off, but the failsafe in my 2.4 RX tricks it into thinking the TX is always on, so it never beeps!
I have the Hobbico version of this beeper in my Pitts. Works great on my tried and true 72 MHz Futaba T6XA !! :)
But yes, it does presume that the battery has not parted company with the receiver/alarm on impact under the lost aircraft scenario. :(

Hi Guys,
In the free flight world there are whole lot of options. They always loose their planes. ;D
I remember finding mine on top of a 30 foot tree. That was a fun one to restreive. :P
Here is a sample... http://www.f1a.info/technics/radio-beacon-rb2/ (http://www.f1a.info/technics/radio-beacon-rb2/)

I use the HK Discovery Buzzer, one in every outdoor land plane I have. At $2.94 each they're dirt cheap and plug into any spare channel on your RX; I use the gear channel. Flip the gear switch and the buzzer activates. I can hear it easily from 100 feet away so as long as you know roughly where you went down, you should be able to find your pride and joy. Of course, as was mentioned earlier, there has to be battery power still going to the RX.

Hi Guys,
I'll give a slightly bigger reward than the owner.
Thanks,
Ken
A giant cookie! I'm heading to the field, and I'm not going to stop searching until I've found that cookie, i mean plane.
Please make sure you guys don't crush any off the beans. The farmer is going to get upset. Try to avoid steping on them.
but the beans are everywhere ;)
