is there a breakdown of the tasks/events?
for example is the slalom event from a flying start? (seems it is)
whats involved in the 10second dash?
Ed you have to be patient, all will be revealed in time.
That's the nature of surprises.
The slalom is a flying start to accommodate ROG and
hand launching and is a safer way to start.
