Title: Kadet. Lt40
Post by: Gregor77 on October 05, 2012, 09:28:56 AM
I just got an older lt40. What motor would be good for this.  I was thinking the power 46 would be fine.  I don't want a missle. Just a nice calm flier.

A guy in our club has one using a Turnigy 4260-500 on 6 LiPos. Turns a 13" prop with lts of go. Don't know which Turnigy series but one of the better ones, Aerodrive in gold and silver.

This would probably fly well on a 40-size motor with 4 cells.

That's what I have in my similar size Pilatus Porter.

agreed 4S with a power 46 would be fine... i use that combination with my Eagle and can get some nice relaxed flights

Thank for the feedback...  I will go with the 46 on 4S, hopefully have it done this weekend.
