Title: Anybody got small springs in their parts bin?
Post by: Wingnutz on November 23, 2012, 08:36:47 AM
This is a repair rather than building concern but I figured it fit best here.
Alas, the spare parts bin at Pinncale and my interweb browsing have not come up with replacement wing bracing tensioner springs for my Gee Bee R3 which sits forlornly  :-[ upside down on the the workstand.
I need extension springs (coil springs which pull things back into place after they're moved) about 1/8" in dia. and 3/4" overall length including the hook.
Will trade for coffees, beer at the next pilot's meeting for springs or  good lead for a replacement source.
Help!
