Post by: Ededge2002 on December 24, 2012, 09:35:40 AM
Im looking to install some cooling vents in a plane and need a piece of carbon tube.  Ideal Diameter would be something 1/2"-5/8" or so and relatively thin wall.  (I know Im demanding arnt I!)  Thing is I only need a few inches of it.(This is just waiting for a rude reply)

Anyone know what the tailboom diameter of Helis are?

I will start bidding at a six pack of beer!

450 booms are 12mm/.472" diameter.
Can't help you with a carbon one though - all mine are aluminum.
