Post by: Gregor77 on January 01, 2013, 01:35:18 PM
Ok power hk g60 400kv,18x8 wood prop spinning 860 watts on 5s 10000 mah  batteries in parallel. Max pulls hard. Low amps at max 45. 60 amp esc. Plane is 11.7 loaded lbs. low wing loading 8 ft wings. Taylor crft Bc12-d aircraft.  Does this sound ok. Just wanted a lazy scale flier with a bit of extra. I calculated about 75 watts per lbs.

It won't be a rocket but it should fly very scale.
