Very neat, but the story is inaccurate in one respect - the quadcopters don't do anything other than what the ground based computers tell them to.
All the motion is captured on cameras from multiple angles and a computer analyzes the video to determine what the quads should do.

In other words they are not doing this autonomously as the story suggests.
