Title: Testing speed controls in Rome
Post by: Michael on March 13, 2013, 11:12:03 AM
Apparently, cardinals have been testing electronic speed controls for their RC planes, at the conclave where they are supposed to be electing a pope.

Someone should tell them that they are drawing too many amps.

I am hoping that Jeff uploads the video from Ronnies Motor when it locked up doing a high alpha.  The video is amazing!  The plane shutters when the motor fails and the stream of smoke is very cool!  Props to Ronnie for flying that F-16 that well!   The issue was that the video was 1 Gig.

"Apparently, cardinals have been testing electronic speed controls"

Nope, just me teaching the cardinals how to charge Lipo batteries.   ;D

I thought that was Ed's place where he's trying to figure out how far he can push the CC 18A ESC.  I think he's up to 45A by now.

I think they only use "CC" Celestial Creations ESCs - they perform miracles for power systems!

They just announced there was white smoke.  No big deal, just me getting the upper hand on the Lipo fire. 8)
