Ok Pilots...
This is the goal... http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Mt8Xixb4nwk# (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Mt8Xixb4nwk#)!
It's the IMAC basic sequence.
Here's what I'm thinking. Let's learn it both individually and together as a group (We can try to set up some practice dates in the spring/ summer) and then have some friendly competition at the Aerobatics mini funfly on Aug 10.
Anyone with wings is welcome to join in the fun. Since it's the basic sequence any sort of non-trainer type plane should do.
Who's with me?
Hey Mike Its still basic pattern from the 70/80ies with only true pattern airplanes [Taurus,Kwik Flies, Dirty Birdies and Kaos], now its scale planes.
Go for it, a great club event!!!! Should be fun.
Ken
In!
Planes and schedule permitting, I'm in. Nicely flown sequence in the video clip. Nice to see the components of the sequence illustrated with the on-screen diagram.
Thanks Mike.
I'm SO in!
i'll give it a go...do we still get cookies for last place?
Last place could be pick 'n' mix if you go too low! Lol
Here's a good resource for IMAC including contest rules and guides.

In!!.... if my triathlon reffing schedule has me off that day.
Someone has to come in second-last.
I guess I need to find a plane with wheels and a speed control, not my usual hand launch and full throttle flying. ;D

I don't think a nooner with wheels is going to work...

I could sell you a Leader - nice plane for aerobatics!!!! ;D

Hate to disappoint you guys but I have a superb pattern airplane. The Fliton Quiet Storm. It has wheels, it is totally overpowered and I just put on new legs on it (the old carbon ones were broken when I was given the plane). Oh yes, it has a new concept called a speed control.
Eat your hearts out Haze and Sihinch. All I have to do is to find some flying ability between now and August and I am a shoe-in for second last place!!!! ;D

You don't say? That doesn't sound like you at all ;)
I'd like to join but managed to forget the sequence before the end of the clip.
Are you willing to stand beside us and tell us what's the next maneuver ?
Bobby
You are allowed a spotter/ caller with you while you fly the sequence.
I'm in... Will give me something to focus on with the Yak.
Where's my Sim, so I can get started... ?
Steve
I am getting File not found error when I try to download the 2013 Pattern. Has anyone got a copy....I left a note on the IMAC site.

That's the plan.
Now all we need is for spring to actually make an appearance.
it looks like old man winter hasn't got the message yet...
