Title: A start in our hobby.
Post by: Papa on March 28, 2013, 11:12:01 PM
I thought I would share this with you.
It is my 7 year old grandson Conrad applying glue to his first model build.
It's a GWS Beaver and he wants to be involved in every step.
I hope he keeps it up and enjoys a lifetime in this wonderful hobby we share.

Jack.

That's awesome!

I think he should put a Power 32 in it and bring it to TEMAC!

Happy childhood memories!

Yeah a power 32 will never get that plane up to 100mph. I'd go with a 60...

With a 32 and definitely with a 60 all you would see when you opened it up would a ballistic motor and a trail of foam bits floating to earth somewhat like snow. LOL.

"always overpower an airplane.  You can always throttle back..... if you have to"

Why stop at a .60?  The prop would have to be bigger than the wingspan but then,  what the hell...
