Title: wing tip ribbons
Post by: imran1042 on May 28, 2013, 06:44:28 PM
i found a foam ribbon roll lying around on a field and it looks pretty cool, it barely has any weight too. I was thinking of adding it to the wing tips of my leader just to make it look cool :) Would it affect flying? Its supper thin, i would say less then a mm and its around 6cm wide. I can always cut the length and width of it down.

Thanks

Please don't.

Best case they wrap around the plane. Worst case they get jammed in an aileron.

For now,  while you work on learning to fly. Avoid any customization of your models. Sometimes the smallest change to a model can have unexpected consequences.
