Title: Henshel 129
Post by: the giant on August 02, 2013, 06:25:03 PM
Hi Guys,
I had my He 129 at Kingston, unfortunately able to fly.
At the recent NIPMAC E-fly, this video was shot.  I have another video with a better landing.

Good flying to each one.

Twins always sound so cool.  Looks like there was more than enough power.   It jumped off the ground.
Always overpower an airplane.  You can always throttle back..... if you have to. ;D

Andre. Was that a kit or plan built?  Looks amazing.

Greg,  the airplane was scratch built from a plan.  However the first month of construction was to reengineer the plans.  They served as a good outline.  I chose to do a built up wing instead of the foam core that was shown.  Then the fuse was built like a brick "sh*t house" (way too heavy).  It was a lot of work but well worth it.

Looks great, Andre!  I'm glad to see it made it to the sky.  Great work!
