Title: Minimag on floats
Post by: bfeist on August 04, 2013, 05:16:54 PM
We added a float kit to Linden's Minimag today. It took quite a while and needed quite a few mods to get them mounted (this included adding a steerable tail wheel). Linden did most of the building. He's really getting the hang of using tools and problem solving.

Looking forward to the next float fly!

Ben

Nice!

Now he can show us how landings are done on the water as well as on grass...

I highly recommend 2 cross pieces on the 2 floats.

Between the floats or between the fuselage and the floats?

From float top to float top, at least.

A diagonal brace from float to fuselage is good too, but not necessarily needed on a small and light model.
