A bit of "movie magic", when they show the frquency response near the end of the video it is not of the electrostatic.

Being a dipole their response in a test chamber is all over the place as the cancellations go in and out with frequency.
Instead they put a regular cone type speaker in.

This does not mean they don't sound good. One of the points of dipoles is that all the room reflections contribute to the open sound they have.
This would be reflected in a total radiated power test which combines the frequency response from all directions.
