Watch out for that brownout zone in the NE corner of the field.
The ultimate FPV! Now this is what you call a Drone !!
Interesting that there is no discussion of practice engagements with the "target" RC F-16. I wonder if they use one of those sonic modules that Greg C and Ron Brott use. :D

Great video Jack!
As far back as 2009 the US Military is reported to admit that it trained and flew more unmanned aircraft pilots and hours than manned aircraft. The cost was also substantially lower with a higher performance record than the manned units had attained.
At this link click show all and look around... This RC stuff is just for fun isn't it??

Three things come to mind:
1) Simon saying "I want one"
2) so much for the AMA's 55 lb limit. It is great to be part of the US forces and write your own rules as you go.
3) when someone yells "oops" you better run fast and very, very far.
Amazing technology.

Damn that thing is awesome!!
yeah i had heard they were doing that with f-16A's converting them to QF-16 to replace the aging QF-4 (F4 Phantom used as target). My Brother's inlaws use to winter very close to Tynall (also home of the f-22's)
Hey Simon maybe they will sell you a QF-4 ;)
I wonder where they would get the planes..... click the link and start zooming in!! You can even "street view" the roads surrounding the place!!

I think these are F16's at

yes they are f-16's, zoom out a touch you will see a few f-4s, a-4s, o-2s, and f-8's. I see a black phantom that would be a real cool plane to do. Here is a pic of it. I remember seeing her at London Ont Airshow.
